Our client list reads like the Who’s Who of the oil and gas industry, because that’s where some of the world’s most extreme environments are – with crucial priorities to manage excessive heat, shock and vibration of electronic components.
Our background and history
We are a team of development professionals who, for most of our individual careers, have been considered experts in product development, prototyping, moldmaking and production. Using concepts we developed in 2001, we produced our first vibration-damping Preforms in 2002 for a sizeable client in the oil industry. Our products revolutionized their field performance and greatly reduced their expenses!
In late 2002, we helped another client solve a specific thermal problem by delivering our first 3D molded Preforms. Through rigorous field use, our client realized an impressive 57 degree F temperature drop in circuit boards for down-hole applications, resulting in elimination of failures and a significant increase in profits.
We were already developing our co-molded Preforms in 2003, when another oil client requested vibration protection for electronic assemblies inside chassis. Our co-molded Preforms solved their problems.
These consist of highly filled silicone materials close to the electronic components, enclosed in hard outer shells for easy insertion
and extra resilience.
Today we continue to help clients improve performance by embedding materials in their Ultipads and Ultipaks for superior rigidity, durability and reliability. Most of our products are manufactured in northwest Houston, in our 7,000 square-foot facility. How can we help you?
